Designed for runners who prioritize cushioning, the MIZUNO SKYRISE 7  feature MIZUNO ENERZY NXT for superior softness, energy return, and a lightweight feel. The MIZUNO WAVE in the rearfoot enhances both cushioning and stability, while the wide outsole platform supports smooth landings and toe-offs. The soft upper gently wraps the foot, delivering a secure and comfortable fit for a variety of running styles.

Mizuno Wave Skyrise 7 uses a dual-foam midsole setup:

• MIZUNO ENERZY NXT: A bio-based, next-generation supercritical foam that makes up a significant portion of the platform. It provides a much softer, lighter, and more responsive underfoot landing compared to earlier iterations.
• Standard MIZUNO ENERZY: Serves as the durable, stable base compound, offering resilient shock absorption and structured energy return.

These foams are combined in Mizuno’s wave-geometry architecture (Foam Wave) to deliver a plush, floating ride while maintaining natural stability without requiring a rigid plastic plate.

 

FEATURES

MIZUNO ENERZY. A mid-sole material that delivers excellent softness, rebound and is very durable.

MIZUNO WAVE. Inspired by nature, Wave is a unique midsole technology that provides both cushioning and stability. Wave‘s unique shape absorbs and disperses the impact at foot strike, which results in a smoother, more cushioned feel on every step.

MIZUNO ENERGY NXT. Mizuno Energy NXT is a nitrogen infused foam placed  in the top midsole to provide soft cushioning and high energy output. It works with the EVA-based MIZUNO ENERZY  in the bottom midsole for added stability.

MIZUNO PREMIUM INSOCK. A high-grade removable insock for premium comfort and cushioning.

MIZUNO X10 OUTERSOLE. An extremely durable Mizuno carbon rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and gives more traction at the heel strike.
