ASICS GT-1000 15

Description

The approach for ASICS regarding the new GT-1000™ 15 shoe was to modernise the model with a new engineered mesh upper that wraps your foot with a comfortable feel while providing good breathability.

The midsole features FF BLAST™ cushioning in the midsole. It’s designed to help create cloud-like cushioning and a more energetic response.

This design also features a 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ for a stable, balanced, and confident stride.

MATERIALS & TECHNOLOGY:

• Engineered mesh upper: A mesh material that reduces the need for additional overlays.
• 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™: Adaptive, on-demand stability system achieved through platform geometry and controlled deformation.
• FF BLAST™ cushioning: Midsole foam that provides a blend of cloud like cushioning and a responsive ride.
• Rearfoot PureGEL® technology: Softer, updated version of our GEL® technology that maintains the acclaimed properties that have made GEL® technology famous. Approximately 65% softer vs standard GEL® technology.
• OrthoLite™ sockliner: Sockliner that provides cushioning performance and moisture management for a cooler, dryer environment (OrthoLite™ is a registered trademark of ATP Manufacturing LLC).
• AHAR™ LO outsole rubber: A lower-hardness rubber placed in key areas of the outsole for reliable grip and traction without sacrificing durability.
• AHARPLUS™ outsole rubber: ASICS’ high abrasion resistant rubber located in the heel area. It’s approximately three times more durable than standard outsole rubbers.
